Missouri Attorney General’s Office to Prosecute Studer & Wiltermood

Prosecution of Michael Studer and James Wiltermood in the death of Hannibal convenience store clerk Adrienne Arnett will be handled by the Missouri Attorney General’s office.

This move is due to new Marion County Prosecutor David Clayton having knowledge of communication with the defendants attorneys prior to his appointment as county prosecutor. Both trials have been moved to Boone County on a change of venue.

Studer’s trial is scheduled to begin March 25. Wiltermood is scheduled to go to trial April 30.
