Quincy Police Issue Alert on Released Violent Offender

Quincy Police are making the public aware of the recent release of a registered violent offender.

QPD reports the release of 60 year old Clarence Stark, now living in Quincy.

Stark is a registered violent offender against youth, having been convicted of the murder of a victim under the age of 13.

Citizens are advised that a listing of all such violent offenders can be found on the Illinois State Police Sex Offender Registration website.

Quincy Police say that, at this time, Stark poses no immediate threat to the public.
