A controlled drug deal gone wrong Monday evening starts a manhunt in northeast Missouri.

Clark County Sheriff’s deputies say 40 year old Jasen Scott Tripp and 21 year old Trenton Ray Kindhart of Keokuk and 19 year old Weston Jaycob Schorr of Alexandria are on the run. Sheriff Paul Gaudette says the three are probably cold… wet… and muddy and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities indicate a controlled buy of methamphetamine was underway near Alexandria around 9:40 p-m Monday when four suspects got away before they could be arrested. After a pursuit, the car got stuck in the mud near Running Fox School near Alexandria. 30 year old Michela Helenthal of Hamilton was arrested and is in the Clark County Jail on a 24 hour hold pending a warrant.

Deputies say the group is also suspected of stealing several cars in the last week in and around Lee, Hancock, and Clark Counties. If you have information on the whereabouts of the individuals wanted… contact law enforcement.
