A Clark County man was arrested following a stand off with law enforcement early Wednesday morning.

Clark County Sheriff Shawn Webster reports the arrest of 51 year old Kenneth Spring of Luray, formerly of Keokuk, at a residence in Luray at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday.

Webster said officers were unsuccessful in trying to get Spring out of the mobile home. They eventually used tear gas to get Spring out of the residence.

Spring is charged with two counts of domestic assault, serious physical injury and attempted murder.

Spring is in the Clark County Detention Center on $200,000 bond.
