A Hannibal man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Sunday.

Hannibal Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Paris just before 3 p.m. Sunday.

A short time later, officers stopped a suspect vehicle at Heyward and Ernest Streets and took 36 year old Adam McCloud into custody on an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

An investigation revealed that McCloud had discarded a bag containing items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine in a nearby wooded area.

McCloud was taken to the Marion County Jail on the warrant, with further charges pending a review by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
