A Clark County man faces charges in connection with allegedly having sexual relations with a teenage girl.

Authorities say 28 year old Joseph Irvin of Luray was arrested March 29th. He was charged Tuesday in Clark County Circuit Court with two counts of second degree statutory sodomy and four counts of second degree statutory rape.

Investigators say that Irvin is alleged to have sexual contact six times with a 15 year old girl last summer and fall.

The sexual encounters are alleged to have taken place in Irvin’s home, a machine shop in Luray, in a parked car in Luray and a fourth location in rural Clark County.

Irvin has a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 31st. He is free on $100,000 bond.
