Lewistown Woman Arrested for Drug Distribution

A Lewistown woman faces drug charges following her arrest this week.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says 53 year old Laura Berry is held in the Lewis County Jail following her arrest Wednesday for delivery of a controlled substance. Berry is alleged to have distributed a generic form of the prescription medication Zanax in late April. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers and the Northeast Missouri Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
