Jury Selection Scheduled Today in Lovelace Murder Trial

Jury selection is scheduled to start in Adams County Circuit Court this morning for the first degree murder trial of Curtis Lovelace.

The jury pool includes 100 potential jurors and the process is expected to last into Tuesday. Lovelace is accused of murdering his wife Cory on Valentine’s Day 2006. Lovelace was arrested in August of 2014 after Quincy Police took another look at the circumstances surrounding the death of Cory Lovelace. Curtis Lovelace is a former Adams County Assistant State’s Attorney and former Quincy School Board President. He played football at QHS and for the University of Illinois.
