We now know for a fact that the remnants of Hurricane Francine will impact both Missouri and Illinois with rain. The question now is how much moisture will both states get and when will it begin? There are now accurate estimates.

The National Weather Service just shared this graphic regarding Hurricane Francine which impacted the state of Louisiana as a category 2 storm. This shows the probability of precipitation and estimates of amounts. No surprise the further south you go in both Missouri and Illinois, the more rain you'll see.

Hurricane Francine hit the southern coast of the United States as a powerful storm as storm chaser Reed Timmer shared.

The National Weather Service says many parts of Missouri and Illinois will begin to see rain from Hurricane Francine after midnight tonight then well into the day on Friday. The system is expected to cool off temperatures temporarily before both states see heat return early next week.
