District officials announced Monday that, starting October 12th, all students in the Hannibal School District and the Pirate Virtual Academy will be able to eat breakfast and lunch for free.

Students attending school will get their meals at their regular times. Virtual students can pick up their meals at the Middle School from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day, and will need to pre-order their meals each week.

Pre-ordering of meals begins Wednesday.

The free meals for Hannibal students will continue through the end of December, or as long as federal funding is available.
