Changes in Food Distribution for Hannibal Students

There are changes in the way food is being distributed to Hannibal students starting Thursday.

Citing the safety of their students and staff, Hannibal School District officials report they are changing their food distribution program delivery model, locations and times, beginning today.

Starting today, food will be distributed Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Oakwood, Stowell, Mark Twain, Veterans and Eugene Field Elementary schools, and at the Middle School.

If you are driving to pick up food, you’re asked to stay in your vehicle and someone will bring your food to you. If you’re walking, keep at least six feet between yourself and others.

And, a reminder that extra food will be handed out today because there will be no distribution Good Friday or next Monday.

Food distribution will continue on the new schedule next Tuesday.
