A partnership of a number of agencies results in a windfall of produce for users of the Salvation Army Bread Line.

On Wednesday, as part of a group effort by the United Way, Proffer Produce and USDA, Salvation Army Family Services in Hannibal received ten food boxes, each containing about 25 pounds of produce.

Salvation Army officials say this partnership will result in the Hannibal Salvation Army receiving weekly shipments of food for the Bread Line between now and the end of June.

If you need food, you’re asked to come to the Hannibal Family Services location in the Steamboat Bend Shopping Center and sign the green registration form.
