Hannibal Man Arrested in Pike County IL for Failure to Register

A Hannibal man is arrested in Pike County, Illinois Tuesday for failure to register as a sex offender and other charges.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office did a sex offender compliance check Tuesday at a residence in New Canton.

Deputies learned 33 year old Michael Tunstall was living at the residence, but had failed to register as a sex offender from Missouri.

Tunstall was arrested for failure to register, providing false information and obstructing justice.

Tunstall is in the Pike County Jail pending his first court appearance.
