An Iowa man has admitted to leading authorities on a high-speed chase in Pike County Missouri.
Twenty-year-old Cory Volberding of Iowa City Iowa has been sentenced to five years of probation.

Authorities say he refused to stop after a Pike County deputy clocked him going more than 85 miles per hour on Highway 61 near Edgewood around 7:45 p.m. on August 21 of last year.

The chase ended in the motorcycle crashing at the west edge of Eolia. Authorities say Volberding had minor injuries but declined treatment.
