Quincy Man Dies from Injuries Suffered in Van-Motorcycle Crash

A Quincy man has died of injuries suffered in a motorcycle/minivan crash a week ago.

Quincy Police report the crash occurred at 8:45 p.m. August 20th on 36th Street just north of Broadway.

The investigation revealed that a westbound motorcycle, operated by 19 year old Nathaniel Gilbert of Quincy, exited the parking lot at 3701 Broadway and struck a southbound minivan, driven by 32 year old Anthony Miller, also of Quincy.

Miller was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Gilbert was taken first to Blessing and later flown to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, where he died Monday.

Quincy Police say no citations were issued in connection with the crash.
