Guilty Plea Entered in Hannibal Shooting Incident
A Hannibal man pleads guilty to unlawful use of a weapon in a November 2017 shooting.
Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton says Myron Mahaney pled guilty to the amended charge. Clayton says the victim positively identified co defendant Tion Dorsey as the person who shot him and that there is no longer a factual basis to charge Mahaney with assault and armed criminal action. Mahaney admitted to firing into the vacant house. Mahaney received the maximum four year prison sentence. Dorsey’s case is still pending.
