As you get ready to hit the road for the Thanksgiving weekend, we have good news.

For the first time in a long while, the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas, at least in Hannibal, has dropped below two dollars a gallon.

In fact, a check of Missouri gas prices dot com shows that the cheapest gas in the entire state can be found here, with gas selling for $1.91 at one station and two others charging $1.93 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the cheapest gas in Illinois is $2.22 in the northern part of the state.

Quincy’s cheapest gas sells for $2.41.

The average statewide gas prices stand at $2.27 in Missouri and at $2.63 in Illinois.
