Gas Prices Back Up as Hannibal ‘Gas War’ Ends
The good old-fashioned gas war motorists in Hannibal have been enjoying for the past couple of weeks is apparently over.
The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Hannibal had dropped as low as $1.55, which was among the cheapest gas in the state of Missouri.
Most Hannibal gas stations raised their prices Friday, with a check of Missouri Gas Price Dot Com early Saturday morning showing one station still at $1.55, while the rest are selling gas from $1.69 to $1.79.
$1.79 is the statewide average for a gallon of gas, which is $1.20 cheaper that it was a year ago.
