Former Nursing Home Chaplain Charged with Sexual Abuse
A former chaplain at a Quincy nursing home has been charged with sexual abuse.
Quincy Police report they were contacted on June 6th by the administration of a nursing home at 2130 Harrison in Quincy.
Police were told that a chaplain who was no longer employed by the home had allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with residents of the home.
An investigation resulted in the arrest Monday of 58 year old James Riley of Quincy on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a person over 60.
The Illinois Department of Public Health joined Quincy Police and the nursing home administration in the investigation.
Riley is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
