A traffic stop by Adams County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit Sunday in the 900 block of Joshua Court in Quincy results in five arrests.

The stop was conducted after task force agents noticed a man wanted on an Adams County warrant for purchasing pseudoephedrine following a conviction under the methamphetamine control act.

A search of the vehicle occupied by 45-year-old Richard Taylor revealed a meth lab. West Central Illinois Task Force agents say the driver, 40-year-old Stephanie Matlick of Quincy was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Three passengers in the vehicle, 43-year-old Matthew Raleigh, 30-year-old Amanda Evans and 50-year-old Danny Boll of Quincy were arrested on drug related charges.

All five individuals were taken to the Adams County Jail.
