FBI is Chasing Alleged Illinois Killer of National Guard Soldier
It was a vicious crime that took the life of an Illinois National Guard soldier right after he completed boot camp. Now, the FBI is involved in the apprehension of a fugitive accused of that murder and need the public's help in locating him.
The FBI in Chicago has recently added Joseph Matos to their most wanted list on May 14, 2024. He is accused of carrying out a murder on a National Guard member on July 3, 2021 as he was leaving a 4th of July party. He is accused of being a member of the Milwaukee Kings and carrying out this murder with a fellow gang member. He is accused of murder in aid of racketeering and murder through the use of a firearm.
Joseph Matos has very distinctive tattoos including "Heavensent" and "Hellbound" on his forearms.
He also has "Most Wanted" on his chest.
There are also multiple tattoos on the top of both arms.
The FBI says that Joseph Matos has the nickname "Troubles" and is to be considered armed and very dangerous. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
