Emergency Request for Volunteers in Hannibal Saturday

The City of Hannibal is again seeking volunteers to fill sandbags after an emergency request was received Saturday morning for assistance.  According to a bulletin from Parks and Recreation, extra sandbags are needed for communities to the north of Hannibal.

Volunteers are asked to come to the Street Department maintenance facility at 701 Warren Barrett Drive in Hannibal.

Palmyra is  recruiting volunteers at the Marion County Highway Department facility.  Canton is also seeking extra sandbagging help, volunteers should report to the Public Works Shed on 4th Street.
