Identity Revealed of Quincy Homicide Victim

Adams County Sheriff Brian Vonderhaar says the death of a Quincy man is being treated as a homicide. The body of 20 year-old Orlando Smith was discovered Thursday afternoon along the side of the road in the 200 block of Koch’s Lane in Quincy.

Quincy Police, the Adams County States Attorney’s Office, and the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services are assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at (217) 214-7706.
