Dodd Waives Preliminary Hearing of Financial Exploitation Charges

A Quincy woman waived her right to a preliminary hearing on a charge of financial exploitation of an elderly person in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday.

36 year old Laura Dodd is alleged to have taken between $300 and $5,000 from the checking account of a man for whom she was acting as his caregiver.

Dodd is back in court for arraignment April 25th.

Dodd remains lodged in the Adams County Jail.
