Quincy Man Arrested on Financial Exploitation Charges

A Quincy man is arrested on financial exploitation charges.

Quincy Police were recently were made aware of a 72 year old female whose money was allegedly being misused.

An investigation by QPD and the West Central Illinois Case Coordination Unit resulted in the arrest Thursday of 48 year old Dusean Smith on a charge of financial exploitation of an elderly person totaling more than $5,000.

Smith is in the Adams County Jail pending a court appearance.
