Dodd Pleads Not Guilty to Exploitation Charges

A Quincy woman pleads not guilty to financial exploitation charges in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday.

36 year old Laura Dodd is charged with one count of financial exploitation of an elderly person.

Dodd is alleged to have taken $300 to $5,000 from an elderly man’s checking account in February and March of this year.

Dodd was acting as the man’s caregiver.

The case was placed on the June jury trial docket.

Dodd is in the Adams County Jail on $12,900 bond.
