A Louisiana, Missouri man has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with the stabbing death of a Pleasant Hill, Illinois man.

In Pike County Circuit Court Tuesday, 44 year old Charles Allen pleaded not guilty to two counts of first degree murder and one count of aggravated battery.

Allen is alleged to have stabbed 65 year old Donald Collard multiple times in the chest late on the night of March 26th.

Collard was pronounced dead at the scene. Allen was arrested later that night in Louisiana.
