DeWeese Waives Prelim on Sexual Abuse Charge

A Quincy waives his right to a preliminary hearing in Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday.

38 year old Charles DeWeese faces one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

He was arrested May 4th on a DCFS report that he allegedly touched a juvenile inappropriately.

A search of his home by Quincy Police revealed several hidden cameras and microphones.

DeWeese is slated to be arraigned July 11th. He is currently free on bond.
