David Masterson Found Guilty of Murder

A Quincy man is found guilty of beating another man to death late last year.

Adams County jurors found David Masterson guilty of first degree murder with aggravating factors. Jurors found that Masterson beat Jason Tournear to death in a residence in the 900 block of Jersey on the evening of December 13, 2014. Tournear was pronounced dead at the scene.

A sentencing hearing is set for June 12.
