Christmas Fire in Hannibal

(HANNIBAL)—Fire investigators say a bathroom heater sparked a fire shortly before 11 a.m. Christmas morning that heavily damaged a small house at 1716 Chestnut in Hannibal.  No injuries are reported. The Hannibal Courier Post says occupants Albert Whittaker and Kathleen Frieden and their pets escaped without injury before firefighters arrived.
