Charges Follow Fatal Knox County ATV Crash

A Kirksville man faces involuntary manslaughter charges following a fatal ATV crash in Knox County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 31 year old Brandon Reed of Kirksville was arrested a few hours after an early Saturday morning crash that claimed the life of 11 year old Maryjane Shey of Hurdland. Shey was thrown from the ATV after it hit a tree on property south of Knox City at 4 a-m last Saturday. Shey was taken to Northeast Regional Hospital in Kirksville and pronounced dead.
