A Hannibal man was granted a change of judge for his upcoming murder trial.

In Marion County Circuit Court Monday, 34 year old Bradley Tierney appeared before Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd and was granted a motion for a change of judge in his second degree murder and armed criminal action case.

Judge Shepherd will send the motion to the Missouri Office of State Courts Administrator for a different judge to be assigned.

Tierney is alleged to have shot 35 year old Ronald Goodrich to death October 15th.

Tierney pleaded not guilty to the charges December 21st.

He remains in the Marion County Jail on a $1-million dollars bond.
