Body Recovered From the Mississippi Near Alexandria

A body discovered by a boater has been recovered from the Mississippi River near Alexandria.
Clark County Sheriff’s deputies say the body was found shortly after 6 p-m in a flooded area near the levee. Clark County Coroner Edwin Wilson says family members identified the body as a Keokuk resident but that he hasn’t identified the victim at this time.
