Five Hurt, One Seriously, in Weekend NEMO Traffic Crashes
A Frankford man suffers serious injuries in a semi-truck crash on Highway 15 south of Shelbina in Monroe County at 6:15 a.m. Saturday.
The Highway Patrol reports 38 year old Adam Epperson was southbound when his rig ran off the road, overturned and came to rest in a ditch.
Epperson was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
A Kahoka man suffers moderate injuries in a single vehicle crash on Clark County Road 173 east of Kahoka at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The Highway Patrol reports 23 year old Justin Woods was northbound when he lost control of his pickup, struck a bridge railing and overturned into a creek.
Woods was taken to Keokuk Area Hospital for treatment.
Two juveniles from Eolia suffer minor injuries in a two-car crash on Pike County Route D at Route WW north of Eolia at 3:55 p.m. Friday.
The Highway Patrol reports a 16 year old juvenile female was westbound on WW, failed to yield as she was turning onto Route D and collided with a northbound car, driven by 38 year old Thomas Ward of Clarksville.
The 16 year old and her passenger, a 17 year old male, also from Eolia, were taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana for treatment.
An Eolia man suffers minor injuries in a two-car crash on Interstate 270 in St. Louis County at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
The Highway Patrol reports 31 year old Bo Jones of Eolia was southbound on 270, changed lanes and struck another southbound car driven by a St. Louis man.
Jones was checked by first responders at the scene and released.
