Blown Tire Causes Motorcycle Crash

A blown tire results in a motorcycle crash on US 61 north of Bowling Green at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.The Missouri Highway Patrol says a motorcycle operated by 52-year-old Rebecca Mariet-Davis of Port St. Lucie Florida lost control when the rear tire failed. Troopers say Mariet-Davis was thrown from the motorcycle as it slid on its side. Trooper say she was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
