Authorities report an arrest in a Quincy homicide.
The Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office says Carlos Williams faces three counts of first degree murder in the May death of 20 year old Orlando Smith. Williams was arrested Tuesday following a court appearance on a separate charge. Bond is set at five million dollars. Court documents charge Williams with strangling Smith between May 27 and May 30. Smith’s body was found in the 200 block of Koch’s Lane. Williams first court appearance is November 21st at 1:30 p-m. Assistant State’s Attorney Josh Jones says the investigation is not over and anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Department.
