Arrest Made in Connection With Stolen Boat in Quincy

The Quincy Police Department has made an arrest in the case of a boat reported stolen from Art Keller Marina.

According to police, the boat was found trapped against the Memorial Bridge on the Missouri side of the Mississippi on July 20. At the time it was found, the boat was unoccupied, but it had sustained damaged. It was towed back to the marina.

An investigation between Quincy Police and the Missouri State Police Water Patrol Division led to the arrest of 22-year-old Casey J. Mayes. Mayes was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
