An Arbela woman is dead after she fell through the ice while ice fishing Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says they were called at 3:20 p-m when 75 year old Judith Boyer fell through the ice. Boyer was pulled out of the pond and taken to Scotland County Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Scotland County Coroner Dr. Jeff Davis says Boyer and her husband Ronnie both fell through the ice and that Ronnie was able to get out of the pond. Ronnie Boyer was taken to Scotland County Hospital for treatment.
