30 Traffic Stops Wednesday Morning on 61 near New London

Extra enforcement Wednesday along US 61 near Ralls County Route A results in 30 traffic stops.

Ralls County Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie says deputies,  New London Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a traffic safety saturation in the area between 8:30 and 11:30 Wednesday morning. 15 citations were issued along with 15 warnings.  The extra enforcement follows a series of traffic crashes at the 61 and Route A intersection. The additional enforcement will continue through the peak travel season.
