22-Year-Old Hannibal Man Charged with 1st Degree Assault

There has been another arrest in the ongoing investigation to an assault in Hannibal on October 9, 2022. A 22-year-old Hannibal man has now been charged with 1st degree assault.

The Hannibal Police Department announced in a press release that Todd C. Haynes Jr. (22) of Hannibal had been arrested by the Missouri Highway Patrol on Monday in connection with the October 9, 2022 assault in the 100 block of North Main in Hannibal.

This new arrest is part of the ongoing investigation that has already resulted in the following charges:

Tiara T Bonner (26) of Hannibal, Murder 2nd Degree
Jason D Anderson (24) of Hannibal, Murder 2nd Degree
Jordan A Payne (27) of Hannibal - Assault in the 1st degree
Thomas D.C. Payne (29) of Hannibal - Assault in the 1st degree
Kaelin L. Rickey (26) of Hannibal - Murder 2nd Degree

According to the press release, Haynes is being held without bond in the Marion County Jail. There is no indication if there will be further arrests as a part of this ongoing investigation.
