The winter of 2015 continues to send one arctic blast after another to northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 p.m. Wednesday through 9 a.m. Thursday. Forecasters say snow will develop Wednesday afternoon and continue through Thursday morning, with three to four inches of snow a possibility.

Then, after more bone-chilling cold Thursday through Friday night, another storm is expected to come calling for the weekend. Snow is expected to start again Saturday, with the best chances for the white stuff Saturday night and Sunday, then again Monday night and Tuesday. No word from the weather service yet on accumulation totals for the weekend.
