Walker Considers Plea Deal in Hit and Run Death
A Camp Point man has a week to consider a plea deal from prosecutors in connection with the hit and run death of a bicyclist last year.
22 year old Colton Walker was in Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday and was offered a plea agreement by Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Cifaldi.
Walker has pleaded not guilty to charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving a death and aggravated DUI.
Walker is alleged to have collided with a bicycle on Highway 24 near Spring Lake Drive early on the morning of June 20th, 2015, resulting in the death of 62 year old Michael Pulliam of Quincy.
Walker has until August 23rd to accept the plea offer. His next court date is set for August 31st.
