Voting continues by members of the Quincy Federation of Teachers and Educational Support Personnel on whether to accept the tentative contract agreement reached with the district over the weekend.

Union members heard details of the agreement at meetings Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, with voting on the pact continuing until 5 p.m. Thursday.

The union had voted to strike beginning Tuesday, but the tentative agreement put that on hold.

If school personnel do not ratify the agreement, the two sides will return to the bargaining table.
