UTV Crash in Pike County MO Injures St. Charles Youth

A UTV crash at 5 p-m Sunday along Pike County Road 9122 results in a trip to the hospital for a 12 year old boy from St. Charles.

The Missouri Highway Patrol say the UTV operated by 12 year old Luke Mitchell of St. Charles hit a tree stump and overturned. Troopers say Mitchell was taken by Survival Flight to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The crash report indicates Mitchell was not wearing a safety device.
