Ursa Man Arrested for Lewis County Vehicle Theft

A three-month investigation leads to the arrest of an Ursa man by Lewis County authorities last week.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says deputies had been looking into an incident in LaBelle since August, leading to the arrest last Thursday of 30 year old John Bates III of Ursa on an outstanding warrant for stealing a motor vehicle.

Bates is in the Lewis County Jail on $5,000 bond.
