Missouri Highway Patrol troopers worked two traffic crashes in northeast Missouri on Tuesday.

Two Canton residents are recovering from injuries following a one car crash at 4:14 Tuesday afternoon four miles south of Canton on Sunflower Road. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 16-year-old Kevin Anderson of Canton went off the road and overturned. Anderson was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A passenger, 22-year-old Michael McDaniel of Canton, was taken to Blessing for treatment of serious injuries.

A pickup truck crash east of Edina on Festus Avenue at 5 p.m. Tuesday results in minor injuries for a young Edina man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a pickup driven by 25-year-old Billy Delony of Edina went off the road and overturned. Troopers say a passenger, 21-year-old Tyler Fraley of Edina, sustained minor injuries. Fraley was taken by private vehicle to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment of minor injuries. The crash report indicates that both driver and passenger were wearing seat belts.
