Two New Year’s Day Traffic Crashes in NE Missouri

(ANABEL)—A collision involving a minivan and a dump truck on US 36 at Anabel at 11:20 Wednesday morning results in serious injuries for a Kirksville man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a dump truck driven by 67 year old John Meisner of Macon slowed to make a turn and was struck from behind by a minivan driven by 51 year old Dan Baker of Kirksville. Baker sustained serious injuries and was life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia.

(PARIS)—A one car crash on Missouri 15 north of Paris at 4:50 Wednesday afternoon results in minor injuries for the driver. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 61 year old Marilyn King went off the highway and overturned. King was taken to Audrain Medical Center in Mexico for treatment.
