Two Methamphetamine Arrests in Quincy

A Quincy couple face methamphetamine and child endangerment charges. West Central Illinois Task Force agents seize a shake and bake meth lab, meth and drug paraphernalia during a search of their residence.

Task force agents used a search warrant Monday afternoon at 2705 Oak. 44-year-old James White and 45-year-old Jill Lewis were taken into custody. Lewis and White also face meth related child endangerment charges. Agents say a 16-year-old juvenile was living in the residence where meth was being produced.

Quincy Police, Adams County Sheriff’s deputies the Illinois State Police Meth Response team and Department of Children and Family Services assisted task force agents.
