Two are hurt and one is ticketed in two separate traffic crashes in Adams County Friday evening.

A Golden man suffers minor injuries and is ticketed as a result of an ATV crash at N 3000 Ave at E 1400th St. at 7:24 p.m. Friday.

Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies report 40 year old Robert Miller lost control of his ATV while negotiating a turn on loose gravel.

Miller was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment. He was cited for Improper Operation of an ATV on the Roadway.

A Quincy man is seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on East 603rd Lane in Adams County at 6:12 p.m. Friday.

Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies report 21 year old Gerald Wierschem lost control of his motorcycle on loose gravel while trying to negotiate a curve. Wierschem’s bike left the roadway and he was ejected. Authorities say Wierschem was not wearing a helmet.

He was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
