Two Hurt, One Ticketed in Adams County Crash

(Quincy) – Two are hurt and one is ticketed after a three vehicle crash on Highway 57 in front of Trinity Industries at 12:27 p.m. Wednesday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 20 year old Molly Lake was stopped northbound waiting to make a left turn. 57 year old Mark McGinley of Quincy was stopped behind Lake. A third vehicle, driven by 68 year old Robert Keppner of Quincy, failed to stop, striking the McGinley car, which in turn struck the Lake SUV.
Mark McGinley and his passenger, Patricia McGinley, were taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

Keppner was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
